Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horhay Rastler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horhay Rastler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Moore!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rastler avoids the body shot from Moore.
Moore dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Rastler feints and as Moore raises his hands in defense, Rastler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Moore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rastler's guard.
Rastler throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Rastler has momentary wrist control but Moore slips an elbow through the middle.
Rastler striking off his back but it's not causing Moore any problems.
Rastler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moore is one step ahead there.

Rastler is pulling down on Moore's head. It's preventing any offense from Moore, at least for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Moore gets caught flat footed, as Rastler shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Moore avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Moore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Moore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moore can do anything to dispel that myth.
Moore wants to get back to his feet but Rastler is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rastler makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Rastler gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Moore breaks the clinch.
Rastler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rastler shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense.

Moore lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Moore.

Moore fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rastler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Moore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moore throws a right and a left that both miss.

Moore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rastler.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Moore fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rastler manages to avoid it.
Rastler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moore swivels and escapes.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Rastler fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Moore avoids it really well and circles away.
Jeff Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moore rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rastler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

It looks like Horhay Rastler has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rastler circles away quickly and effectively.
Moore is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rastler rather than just go for the knockout.

Rastler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rastler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Moore wriggles free and stands up.
Rastler has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Rastler shoots for a double leg takedown but Moore sprawls well. He's pushed Rastler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rastler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rastler has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Moore's face.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Moore cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rastler makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rastler.

Jeff Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Moore throws a series of punches but Rastler avoids them all with ease.
Horhay Rastler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Horrible takedown by Rastler or perhaps it was just good defense by Moore which made him look bad.

Rastler shoots in looking for a takedown. Moore tries to sprawl out of it but Rastler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Moore looks to land a combination but Rastler avoids it well.

Rastler jumps guard and drags Moore to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Moore is on top in guard.

Rastler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Moore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jeff Moore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rastler takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Moore lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rastler tries to clinch but Moore moves out of range.

Moore lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rastler backs up against the cage.
Horrible takedown by Rastler or perhaps it was just good defense by Moore which made him look bad.
Rastler closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Rastler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Moore sprawls well initially but Rastler persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horhay Rastler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
