Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gaycer Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, DeAndre Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tyson somewhat.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Tyson's head but Tyson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva stuns Tyson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Tyson moves into the clinch.
Tyson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Silva's defenses.
It looks like Gaycer Silva has been cut.
Tyson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Silva avoids it.
A body shot lands from Tyson.
Tyson lands an elbow inside.
Tyson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Silva.
Silva changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tyson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tyson!
Tyson throwing hammer fists to the chest of Silva. What's that going to do exactly?

Tyson has given up his back here.
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silva keeps control of the position as Tyson tries to break free.
Tyson is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Silva off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Tyson controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyson is trying to defend against the choke here but Silva has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Silva Tightens the hold and Tyson taps out furiously! Silva displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
