Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trey Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Baringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Washington might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bomber Style - Aphrodite. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baringer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baringer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Washington defends it nicely.

Baringer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Washington changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baringer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Baringer is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baringer wants to control but Washington postures up.
Washington is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Washington wants to control for a moment but Baringer uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Washington wants to control but Baringer is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Baringer is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Washington is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Baringer wants to get up but he can't break Washington's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baringer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Washington throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
