Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Paradoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrence Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howard has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brandon Paradoski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Terrence Howard's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paradoski misses with a takedown attempt - Howard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Paradoski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Howard sprawls well initially but Paradoski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Paradoski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Paradoski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Howard is trying to stand.

Paradoski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Howard's head.
Paradoski throwing shots but Howard is blocking nicely.
Howard slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Paradoski gets to his feet. Howard looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Howard lands with a hook. Paradoski tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howard working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Paradoski is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Howard pulls his head out easily.

Howard is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Howard decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Paradoski tries to land knees in the clinch but Howard avoids the damage to the body.
Howard blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Paradoski gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Howard.
Howard tries to pull guard but Paradoski won't allow it.

Paradoski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Howard blocks it with crossed arms.
Howard goes for a takedown in the clinch but Paradoski prevents it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Howard pushes Paradoski off and scrambles back to his feet.

Paradoski shoots in and bounces Howard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Paradoski wants to control from the top but Howard keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terrence Howard dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Howard closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Paradoski did well to prevent Howard getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Howard looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Howard stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Paradoski to get to his feet.
Howard shoots for a double leg takedown but Paradoski sprawls well. He's pushed Howard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Paradoski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Paradoski has an Americana. Howard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Paradoski is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Paradoski hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
