The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fuller Jnr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fuller Jnr blocks a low kick nicely.
Riley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Mac Fuller Jnr has been cut.
Fuller Jnr throws a left and a right that both miss
and Riley counters with a stiff right hand.
Riley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Riley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fuller Jnr's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riley has gone for a leg lock! Fuller Jnr slips out almost immediately though and dives into Riley's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riley is trying to hold Fuller Jnr in close to prevent damage but Fuller Jnr has managed to pass into half guard.
Fuller Jnr prevents Riley from improving his position.

Riley tries to get to full guard but Fuller Jnr has control of the leg.
Fuller Jnr takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Riley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Fuller Jnr is taking a breather. Riley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Riley wants to improve his position but Fuller Jnr is controlling well.
Fuller Jnr wants to pass the guard but Riley is defending well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Riley swings for the body but Fuller Jnr moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Riley. That snapped Fuller Jnr's head back.
A nice leg kick lands there from Riley.
Riley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Riley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fuller Jnr.

Fuller Jnr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Riley manages to avoid it.
Fuller Jnr tries to close the distance and clinch but Riley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Riley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fuller Jnr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Riley lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Riley looks to land a left hand but Fuller Jnr moved out of range nicely.
Riley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fuller Jnr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Riley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fuller Jnr closes the distance looking to clinch
and Riley counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Fuller Jnr is rocked!

Riley lands a brutal uppercut that launches Fuller Jnr off his feet! Fuller Jnr tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
