Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick O Shae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rick O Shae was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Tyler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick O Shae !
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Shae turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tyler chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before O Shae can pounce on him.
Tyler moves out of range of the body kick from O Shae .
Tyler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tyler lands in his opponent's guard.
O Shae is looking for a triangle but Tyler pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
O Shae is looking to stand up but Tyler isn't so interested in that idea.
Tyler working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of O Shae 's head.
O Shae working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

O Shae is looking for a triangle but Tyler pushes his legs off easily.
O Shae isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tyler stacks O Shae on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tyler!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tyler lands an elbow.
O Shae looks to move to half guard but instead Tyler has passed into mount! Damn!
O Shae tries to buck Tyler off so he can stand up but Tyler has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! O Shae falls backwards, slamming Tyler to the mat but Tyler holds on tight! O Shae is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jake Tyler!
Jake Tyler is the new middleweight champion!
