Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Parker Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunsuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: É muita treta!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura tries to clinch up but Pierce circles away and keeps his distance.
Nakamura shoots in but Pierce avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nakamura misses with a body kick.
Nakamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pierce throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nakamura.
Pierce throws a hook but Nakamura blocks it.

Nakamura takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pierce moves into full guard.
Pierce is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pierce manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nakamura manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Parker Pierce.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pierce, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
