Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Mcnulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jami Noble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noble has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Jami Noble has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jimmy Mcnulty's chin.

Mcnulty drives through with a takedown into guard.
Noble looks gassed!
Noble has momentary wrist control but Mcnulty slips an elbow through the middle.
Mcnulty is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Mcnulty gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mcnulty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Noble swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mcnulty closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcnulty lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mcnulty is taking a breather. Noble says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mcnulty knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Noble on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mcnulty wants to clinch up but Noble keeps it at a distance.

Mcnulty stands and steps away. Noble gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mcnulty swats away the attempt to clinch by Noble.
Mcnulty attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A big right from Mcnulty misses.
Noble tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcnulty swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Noble cracks a nice hook into Mcnulty's ribs.
Mcnulty shoots in for a takedown but Noble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mcnulty tries to score a power double leg takedown but Noble sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcnulty somewhat.

Mcnulty escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Noble gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mcnulty is working Noble over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Noble throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Noble counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mcnulty thinking.

Noble lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Noble closes the distance and pushes Mcnulty back into the cage.

Mcnulty jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Noble walks away with a smile on his face. Mcnulty gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Noble connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mcnulty looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Noble throws a body punch but Mcnulty moves out of range.
Mcnulty misses with a double jab.
Noble cracks Mcnulty with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mcnulty avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Noble rushes Mcnulty and presses him up against the cage.

Noble lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Noble is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mcnulty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Noble smiles and moves away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcnulty, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
