The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aleist misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Svistoplyasov throws a left that rocks Aleist and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Svistoplyasov dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Aleist regain composure!

It looks like Memphis Aleist has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Svistoplyasov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Aleist to his feet.
Svistoplyasov misses with a straight left.
Svistoplyasov tries to clinch but Aleist is having none of it.
Svistoplyasov tries to clinch up but Aleist circles away and keeps his distance.
Alexander Svistoplyasov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
