Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malli Nukke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hobbis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hobbis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gingers Have Souls!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nukke gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Malli Nukke has been cut.

Nukke moves into range and clinches up with Hobbis.

Hobbis has had enough of the clinch but Nukke keeps him there for the moment.

Hobbis is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nukke is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hobbis to the mat. Hobbis regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Nukke drives through and clinches with Hobbis against the cage.

Nukke goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hobbis prevents it.

Nukke throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hobbiss head.

Nukke has hold of one of Hobbis's legs. Hobbis is fighting the takedown attempt but Nukke gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Nukke makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hobbis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nukke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hobbis wants to control but Nukke is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Nukke takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Nukke slips a nice elbow through Hobbis's hands, connecting with Hobbis's forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hobbis is refusing to be controlled, as Nukke sits in half guard.

Nukke has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hobbis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nukke scoring with strikes but Hobbis is staying in there.
Hobbis is in a horrible position here. Nukke smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hobbis is trying to stand up.
BOOM! Nukke connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nukke lands a nice shot to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hobbis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nukke postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hobbis in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hobbis to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
