Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Roosevelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pebble Braithweight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braithweight has chosen 300 violin as his entrance music. Teddy Roosevelt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Pebble Braithweight!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosevelt lands with a hook. Braithweight tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.


It looks like Pebble Braithweight has been cut.
Roosevelt looks to score with a jab to the body but Braithweight is just out of range.
Braithweight tries to clinch there but Roosevelt circles away.
Roosevelt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Braithweight.
Braithweight defending well as Roosevelt loads up on a big left hand.
Roosevelt misses with a looping left.
Roosevelt thows a left - swing and a miss!
Roosevelt misses with a wild body shot.
Roosevelt throws a hook to the side of Braithweight's head but Braithweight sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Braithweight slips under a jab from Roosevelt.

Braithweight fails in his attempt to clinch.

Braithweight gets the takedown into side control.

Braithweight tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Braithweight has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Braithweight is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Roosevelt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Braithweight tries for a kimura but Roosevelt is defending well.

Braithweight thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Roosevelt is trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Braithweight wants to control but Roosevelt is keeping him busy.
Roosevelt manages to get back to half guard.

Braithweight is trying to work for a kimura but Roosevelt is defending well.
Roosevelt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Braithweight on the ground.
Braithweight looks gassed!
Roosevelt is looking to escape.

Braithweight prevents Roosevelt from improving his position.

Roosevelt is trying to maintain the position but Braithweight is very close to passing his half guard.

Braithweight is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Braithweight is keen to just control but Roosevelt is a slippery customer.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Braithweight is working for a kimura but Roosevelt is defending it quite comfortably.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Braithweight avoids the body shot from Roosevelt.
A shot to de liver by Roosevelt. Beautiful body shot.
Roosevelt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Teddy Roosevelt dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pebble Braithweight's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Braithweight moves out of range of the strikes.
Roosevelt lands a jab to Braithweight's midsection.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Roosevelt knocks Braithweight out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Teddy Roosevelt!
