Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perlamo Veltorren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veltorren tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blake swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Veltorren shoots in and bounces Blake off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Veltorren advances to half guard.
Veltorren with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Blake misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Veltorren prevents Blake from standing back up.

Veltorren with the ground and pound but Blake uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Veltorren throws a strike but Blake rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Blake wants to control the action but instead Veltorren gets a body lock and reverses into Blake's guard! Nice work!
Blake is trying to control the position but Veltorren postures up.
Veltorren stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blake swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blake can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Veltorren controls the pace.

Blake is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Veltorren is aware though and is defending well.
Veltorren wants to pass the guard but Blake is keeping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Veltorren feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Veltorren is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Blake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Veltorren is pushing down on Blake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blake is fighting to maintain full guard but Veltorren has managed to sneak the leg through.

Blake tries to close the distance and clinch but Veltorren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Veltorren has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
