The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menjadi throws a head kick that half lands.
Menjadi connects with a high kick.
Menjadi dives in and grabs Grey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Grey pushes down on Menjadi's head and hops out.
Grey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Menjadi's guard.
Grey stands up from Menjadi's guard - Grey perhaps looking for a knockout.
Grey has Menjadi up against the cage in a clinch.
Grey lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Tahida Menjadi has been cut.
Grey crunches a lovely knee into Menjadi's ribcage.

Grey slips a nice elbow through Menjadi's hands, connecting with Menjadi's forehead.
Menjadi taking some punishment here, with Grey in his half guard.
Grey takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Grey decides to stand up.
Grey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Menjadi!

Grey cracks Menjadi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Grey landing strikes from the mount and Menjadi is in trouble!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grey working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Menjadi turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Grey off and cradles Menjadi's limp body as Grey celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Charlie Grey!
