Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between shit face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and wanderlei manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). manuel has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5n2fL6dL_8 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
face fails with an attempt to clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for face.
manuel fails with the takedown.
manuel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? face is fending him off so far but manuel persists. Nope, face circles away and we're back to standing.
face instigates a clinch.
manuel is trying to force a seperation but face has the dominant position.
face lands a knee to the head.
face jumps guard and drags manuel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
manuel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
manuel works a leg free and moves into half guard.
face is looking to control manuel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can face avoid being mounted?
face looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

face wants to get back to full guard.
Ground and pound from manuel.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
face trying to control here.
face wants to control but manuel passes into side.
manuel decides to stand back up. manuel steps back and let's face get back to his feet.
manuel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
face moves into the clinch.
face has manuel pushed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
face's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
face stuffs the takedown attempt from manuel. manuel gets slowly back to his feet.
shit face has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of wanderlei manuel.
manuel shoots for a double leg takedown but face sprawls well. He's pushed manuel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
manuel looks gassed!
manuel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in face's guard.
manuel gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
face gets a clinch.
face is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
face ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. face no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
face wants to sweep here but manuel controlling him for the moment.
face pulls manuel in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
face manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. manuel manages to get himself to full guard.
manuel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
face tries to free his leg and advance position but manuel is retaining full guard.
manuel keeping moving, preventing face from controlling successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
face trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
face trying to control the position from guard on top but manuel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

manuel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
manuel avoids the attempt from face to control.
face flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that shit face will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
manuel fails with a takedown attempt.
face thows a body shot but no joy.
face tries for a takedown but manuel circles away easily
and manuel counters with a shoot takedown. face fights it but they end up in guard.
manuel looking to pass the guard.
face not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
manuel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
manuel trying to control but face is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

face is trying to control the position but manuel postures up.
face is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
face blocks a head kick by manuel.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
face scores a takedown into full mount!
face takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
face can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as manuel is looking to escape.
face breaks from manuel's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Poor strikes thrown by face there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
manuel tries to hold on but face pushes him away.

manuel is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
manuel tries to improve his position but face has taken his back! face has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will manuel tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! face pushes manuel away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
