The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kharkov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marshall Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kharkov lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Marshall Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kharkov looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kharkov lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Marshall Jr quite badly. Marshall Jr pulls Kharkov in close trying to recover. Kharkov postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Marshall Jr on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Marshall Jr doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
