Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yallen Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calros Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silver kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Like Light to the Flies - Trivium. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez slips a straight right by Silver.
Vasquez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silver misses with a wild body shot.
Silver swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vasquez fails to land the takedown.
Vasquez moves out of range as Silver strikes.
Vasquez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silver.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silver throws the left hand but Vasquez avoids the punch easily.

Vasquez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silver was covering up waiting for the punch and Vasquez finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vasquez thows a big elbow that misses.
Silver on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silver tries to get out of the position.
Vasquez forces his way into half guard.
Silver gets full guard.
Vasquez won't allow Silver to get back to his feet.
Silver keeping moving, preventing Vasquez from controlling successfully.

Silver is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Silver lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

A nice left hand lands by Silver.

Vasquez manages to pull guard.

Vasquez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Silver should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vasquez has tightened it up now! Silver should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
