Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurple throws a head kick but Dempsey moves out of range.

Dempsey throws a series of punches but Nurple moves out of range.
Dempsey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dempsey connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nurple tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dempsey, as that shot connected.

and Nurple counters with a left and a right that stings Dempsey.

Nurple throws an overhand right that lands on Dempsey's shoulder, as Dempsey tries to avoid the shot.
Nurple uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dempsey.
Dempsey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nurple counters with a straight right hand.
Nurple throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dempsey.

Nurple lands a jab to the nose.

and Nurple counters with a good low kick that Dempsey was not able to check.
Nurple connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Dempsey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nurple moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Darth Nurple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dempsey lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dempsey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nurple.
Nurple throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dempsey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dempsey is breathing heavily.

Dempsey looks for a takedown but Nurple sprawls well.
Dempsey misses with a double jab
and Dempsey takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nurple tries to bum rush Dempsey with a series of wild strikes but Dempsey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dempsey takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nurple turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dempsey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nurple fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dempsey.
Nurple connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Dempsey! He's out on his feet! Nurple rushes in and drops Dempsey with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
