Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heart moves into the clinch.
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Silva drags the fight down to the ground.
Heart stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Silva clinches but Heart breaks the clinch
and Heart counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
Silva is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Heart decides to stand back up. Heart steps back and let's Silva get back to his feet.

and Heart counters by clinching up.

Silva has a closed guard, preventing Heart from standing up.
Silva wants to stand up but Heart is controlling him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Heart counters with a takedown into side control.
Heart is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Silva is trying to buck Heart off.
Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Heart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Heart shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Heart won't let Silva get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

and Heart counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ricardo Heart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Heart is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Heart, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
