The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Logan Walker has been cut.
Gazzo loads up on a big right hand but Walker slips the punch.
Gazzo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Walker's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gazzo sprawls well. Gazzo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Walker gets slowly back to his feet.
Gazzo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Gazzo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gazzo throws out a leg kick but Walker moves out of range and Gazzo only half commits.

Walker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Walker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker seems to be looking for submissions.
Walker tries to pass to full mount but Gazzo defends it.

Walker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gazzo keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gazzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gazzo tries to bum rush Walker with a series of wild strikes but Walker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Walker has gone for a leg lock! Gazzo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walker's guard.

Walker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gazzo defends well.

Walker isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gazzo stacks Walker on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gazzo!
