Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Flacco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kusok Govna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Kusok Govna enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Phil Flacco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kusok Govna!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Govna looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Govna sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Govna working over Flacco with some ground and pound. Flacco looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Govna trying to mount his opponent but Flacco defends it.
Flacco is staying active underneath Govna, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Govna thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Flacco's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Govna working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Flacco is trying to control but can't.

Govna is looking for a kimura but Flacco is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Govna to get the leverage.

Flacco gets back to full guard.
Flacco wants to get back to his feet but Govna is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Govna shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flacco as he avoids it easily.
Kusok Govna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Govna throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Flacco was covering up waiting for the punch and Govna finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Govna looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Govna wants to get up but he can't break Flacco's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Govna is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Flacco has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Govna is looking to defend but Flacco has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Govna! Flacco pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Govna taps out and this one is all over!
