The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Malenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Malenko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.
Malenko is positioning himself well to prevent Silva advancing to mount.
Malenko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!
Malenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Malenko is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Silva has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Malenko is looking to defend but Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Malenko! Silva pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Malenko taps out and this one is all over!
