Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Bon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elkir Delfino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Bon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elkir Delfino!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delfino tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Delfino misses with a two punch combination.
Bon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Delfino misses with a wild combination.
A head kick by Delfino misses
and Bon counters with a series of strikes. Delfino will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bon gets the takedown into side control.
Delfino is trying to improve his position.
Bon is looking to take a break and control but Delfino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Delfino tries to buck Bon off but Bon is having none of it.
Delfino manages to get back to half guard.
Bon works his way into full mount!
Delfino is wriggling around trying to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delfino in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Bon lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Delfino slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Delfino is trying to get back to full guard.
Delfino wants to control but Bon is keeping busy.
Delfino wants to improve his position but Bon is controlling well.
Delfino looks gassed!
Bon scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bon wants to pass to mount but Delfino is defending the position.
Bon is keen to just control but Delfino is a slippery customer.

Bon tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bon is trying to control. Delfino wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Delfino misses with a few strikes there.
Delfino misses with a head kick.
Delfino misses with a series of wild punches.
Delfino misses with a double jab

and Bon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Delfino's guard.
Bon with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bon stands and throws Delfino's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bon stands up.

Bon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bon won't allow Delfino to sweep him here.
Delfino keeping moving, preventing Bon from controlling successfully.
Bon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Delfino is trying to control the position but Bon postures up.

Bon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bon gets to his feet. Delfino looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Delfino lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bon backs up against the cage.

and Bon counters with a takedown into side control.
Delfino is trying to improve his position.
Bon is looking to take a break and control but Delfino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Delfino's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bon wants to control but Delfino is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Delfino looks to move to half guard but instead Bon has passed into mount! Damn!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Delfino keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Bon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Bon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bon landing punches.
Delfino manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Bon is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Delfino manages to get to full guard.
Delfino looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Delfino bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bon's guard.
Delfino slips nicely into half guard.
Delfino has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Delfino content just to control the position here.

Delfino working for a guillotine from mount but Bon is in no mood to give up.
Delfino trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bon tries to lock up and control but Delfino gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Delfino throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Delfino working for a submission but Bon is keeping him at bay.
Bon is looking to get to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Delfino looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Delfino wants to control the pace but Bon is squirming around nicely.

Delfino has hold of Bon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Delfino can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bon is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Elkir Delfino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Delfino tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Delfino sprawls well. Delfino wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bon gets slowly back to his feet.
Delfino swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Bon counters with a shoot takedown. Delfino fights it but they end up in guard.
Delfino not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bon wants to control from the top but Delfino keeps moving.
Delfino wants to sweep but no luck.

Delfino is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bon is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bon postures up and lands a big shot to Delfino's brow.
Delfino controls Bon momentarily but Bon frees himself.

Bon stands up and waves to Delfino to follow him.
Bon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Delfino as he avoids it easily.
Bon misses with the combination.
No joy there for Delfino, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Delfino clobbers Bon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Delfino defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Bon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Delfino throws a right hand that Bon ducks under and follows up with a left that Bon also avoids with ease.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Delfino throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Delfino!
John Bon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bon trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Delfino tries to hold on but Bon pushes him away.
Delfino really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Delfino regains half guard.
Delfino is looking for a sweep. Bon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Delfino is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bon pulls his head out easily.

Bon decides to stand and escape the position.

Bon gets a clinch.
Bon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Delfino wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Delfino breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Some wild striking there from Delfino.
Delfino throws a jab but it's blocked by Bon.
Delfino tries a head kick but it misses.

Bon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Delfino was covering up waiting for the punch and Bon finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Delfino is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bon defends well.
Bon is fighting to break Delfino's control of his arms but Delfino is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

And that's the end of the fight!
John Bon showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
