The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
StPierre ducks under a wild hook from Wendowsky.
A slow jab from Wendowsky misses its intended target.
StPierre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A swing and a miss from Wendowsky.
Wendowsky slaps away a takedown attempt from StPierre, before circling back to the center of the mat.

StPierre throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wendowsky.
Wendowsky pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
StPierre uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wendowsky.

StPierre swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wendowsky is now in StPierre's guard. A big mistake from StPierre there, giving up the dominant position!

Wendowsky wanted to stand there but StPierre had control of the position.
StPierre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

StPierre closes the distance and clinches up with Wendowsky, looking for a takedown. StPierre pushes Wendowsky against the cage but Wendowsky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Wendowsky steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! StPierre is out on his feet! Wendowsky sets himself and nearly takes StPierre's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
