Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zach Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geter Done (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zach Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Geter Done!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan misses with a wild combination.
Done shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Morgan lands a nice looking body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Done.
Morgan lands a nice shot to the body.
Done looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morgan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morgan has his takedown stuffed

and Done counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Done.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Done postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Morgan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Done working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Morgan throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Morgan looking for a guillotine here but Done defends easily.

Morgan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Morgan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morgan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Done manages to pass to side control.
Done has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Morgan looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Done scores with a takedown into Morgan's guard.
Morgan wants to stand but Done is controlling the position.
Done trying to move into half guard but instead Morgan has managed to sweep!
Morgan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Done looking for a guillotine here but Morgan defends easily.
Done has momentary wrist control but Morgan slips an elbow through the middle.

Done looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morgan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Morgan throws a big right hand that misses.
Morgan with a flurry of punches that miss.
Morgan thows a big elbow that misses.
Morgan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Done works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Done working for a triangle but Morgan defends it easily.

Done is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Morgan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Morgan tries for a takedown but Done circles away easily

and Done counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Morgan tries to get to full guard but Done has control of the leg.

Done looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Morgan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Done's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Done's back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Zach Morgan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Morgan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Morgan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Done is looking for a sweep.
Done wants to control but Morgan postures up.
A lull in the action here.
Done tries to buck Morgan off but Morgan is having none of it.
Morgan is trying to ground and pound but Done uses the momentary lack of control by Morgan to regain half guard.
Done is looking to control Morgan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Done avoid being mounted?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Done shoots in for a double leg but Morgan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Done closes the distance and clinches up with Morgan, looking for a takedown. Done pushes Morgan against the cage but Morgan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zach Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Done is breathing heavily.
Morgan stuffs the takedown.
Zach Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geter Done.
Morgan lands with a hook. Done tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Morgan closes the distance and clinches up with Done, looking for a takedown. Morgan pushes Done against the cage but Done circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Morgan or perhaps it was just good defense by Done which made him look bad.
Morgan throws a one two combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morgan digs a good body shot into Done's ribs.
Zach Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morgan lands with a nice combination. Done backs away looking to recover.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Morgan drops Done with a beautiful combination! Done stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Morgan is looking for the KO!


Done is rocked!
Morgan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Done takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Morgan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Zach Morgan!
