Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tauno Karvaranne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andro Babic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babic has chosen Boom - P.O.D. as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karvaranne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Babic tries to avoid it but Karvaranne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Babic to the ground. Babic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Babic gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Karvaranne jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Babic walks away with a smile on his face. Karvaranne gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Karvaranne is defended easily by Babic.

Babic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Karvaranne looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Karvaranne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Babic has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
