Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kai Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Baum is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baum defends it nicely.
Ace is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ace.
Ace fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baum's waist but Baum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ace off to one side.

Ace drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Baum gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Ace had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Baum is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ace Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Baum's back instead.

Ace goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Baum rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ace's guard! Nice work there by Baum!

Well Baum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
