Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Duncan McCloud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Willian Wallace!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCloud as he jumps to the side.
McCloud closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wallace to the mat! Wallace manages to get full guard.
McCloud drops back looking for a leg! Wallace is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wallace manages to kick McCloud off! McCloud jumps back into Wallace's guard.
McCloud thows a big elbow that misses.
Wallace utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McCloud with a flurry of punches that miss.
McCloud wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position.
McCloud got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wallace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McCloud has managed to get both his arms back between Wallace's legs - danger averted.
McCloud trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
Wallace looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but McCloud is defending well. Wallace quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! McCloud has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wallace celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Willian Wallace!
