Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Krueger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Hugo de Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Hugo de Carvalho will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Carvalho shoots in for a takedown but Krueger shows good takedown defense.

de Carvalho tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Krueger smiles and moves away.
de Carvalho shoots in and drives through. Krueger sprawls well.

de Carvalho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Krueger pinned against the cage. Krueger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Krueger gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Krueger apologises and we restart here on the feet.
