PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Chompers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chompers comes into the arena with Enter Sandman blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chompers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nielsen was covering up waiting for the punch and Chompers finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nielsen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nielsen can't keep his opponent in guard - Chompers advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chompers connects with a nice short shot to Nielsen's temple.
Nielsen lands with a few short shots to the body.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Chompers is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nielsen is surviving well by controlling Chompers's body position as best he can.

Chompers stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Chompers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Chompers tries to circle away but Nielsen has him pinned against the cage.

Chompers stands up and beckons Nielsen to join him on the feet.

Nielsen forces Chompers back against the cage and clinches.

Chompers tries to break the clinch but Nielsen is controlling the position.
Nielsen lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Nielsen keeps control of Chompers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Nielsen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chompers is defending well for now.

Chompers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Chompers has hold of Nielsen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nielsen seems comfortable defending it but Chompers has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nielsen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nielsen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Chompers couldn't care less - he's delighted!
