And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuinness shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McGuinness's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rua keeping moving, preventing McGuinness from controlling successfully.
McGuinness is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rua is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Rua working a defensive guard here.
McGuinness trying to control the position from guard on top but Rua is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McGuinness closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rua is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked McGuinness off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua has the hooks in. McGuinness is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Rua has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, McGuinness has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Rua is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but McGuinness won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Rua off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Vitor Rua!
