Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Buffon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DIAS fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

DIAS darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Buffon trying to hold on to DIAS's head to control him but DIAS postures up.
Buffon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

DIAS is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Buffon is just riding it out for now. DIAS eventually gives up the hold.

DIAS seems to be working for a kimura but Buffon defends the submission attempt.
DIAS has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Buffon is defending against the submission attempts here by DIAS.
Buffon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DIAS on the ground.
DIAS trying to pass the guard but Buffon defending well.
Buffon is looking for a sweep. DIAS is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Buffon is trying to stand up here but DIAS is controlling him well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Buffon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
DIAS shoots in for a takedown but Buffon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Buffon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
DIAS looks gassed!
Buffon connects with a superb combination that knocks DIAS out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Buffon before he can land any more shots to the unconscious DIAS!
