The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pliskin, right into the meat.
Pliskin throws a quick inside leg kick.
Pliskin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pliskin misses with a low kick.
Lohk moves out of range of the body kick from Pliskin.
Pliskin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nice sprawl there from Pliskin as Lohk shoots in.

Lohk shoots for a double leg takedown but Pliskin sprawls well. He's pushed Lohk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Horrible takedown by Lohk or perhaps it was just good defense by Pliskin which made him look bad.

Pliskin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Some bone on bone action there as Lohk checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Lohk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lohk is trying to ground and pound but Pliskin uses the momentary lack of control by Lohk to regain half guard.
Lohk is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Pliskin reverses the position - he's now on top in Lohk's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lohk is on top in guard.
Lohk is looking to work some ground and pound but Pliskin has wrist control.
Lohk postures up in Pliskin's guard and throws a big left but Pliskin blocks it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lohk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pliskin dives on top into guard.
Lohk pulls Pliskin in close to prevent any damage.

Lohk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pliskin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lohk somewhat.
Lohk shoots in but Pliskin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pliskin stuffs the takedown attempt from Lohk. Lohk gets slowly back to his feet.
Lohk takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pliskin throws a sloppy head kick and Lohk moves out of range easily.
Pliskin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Argo Lohk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pliskin cracks the inside of Lohk's front leg.
Pliskin throws out a leg kick but Lohk moves out of range and Pliskin only half commits.

Iroquois Pliskin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Lohk is looking for submissions but instead, Pliskin has regained full guard.
Lohk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pliskin wants to stand but Lohk is controlling the position.

Lohk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lohk drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pliskin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pliskin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pliskin!

Pliskin trying to control the position but Lohk is working away.
Lohk tries to improve position but can't.
Argo Lohk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Pliskin is looking to take a break and control but Lohk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pliskin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lohk kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
