Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Nadeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris has chosen Any Way You Want It as his entrance music. Colin Harris will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Nadeau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin Harris!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nadeau throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harris sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice straight punches there by Nadeau. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nadeau.
Nadeau swinging wilding here.
Nadeau throws a right and a left that Harris avoids nicely.
Nadeau fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nadeau tries a head kick but it misses.
Nadeau throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for Nadeau with that takedown attempt.
Harris shoots in but no luck this time.
Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nadeau misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Harris showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nadeau.
Harris moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Harris counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Harris.
Harris controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nadeau looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Harris working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Harris passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Nadeau is looking for a sweep.
Harris wants to control but Nadeau is keeping him busy.
Nadeau sneaks back into half guard.
Nadeau is refusing to be controlled, as Harris sits in half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Harris is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Nadeau manages to get to full guard.

Nadeau looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harris thows a big elbow that misses.
Harris wants to pass the guard but Nadeau is keeping the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nadeau is on top in guard.
Harris keeping full guard, as Nadeau tries to pass.
Nadeau advances to half guard.
Harris is trying to get back to full guard.

Harris kicks off Nadeau and gets to his feet.
A jab from Nadeau misses.
Nadeau throws the left hand but Harris avoids the punch easily.
Nadeau misses with a shot to the body

and Harris counters with a single leg into guard. Nadeau didn't expect that.
Nadeau looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Harris wants to control from the top but Nadeau keeps moving.
Harris might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nadeau kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Harris tries to free his leg and advance position but Nadeau is retaining full guard.

Nadeau working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harris manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Nadeau bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harris's guard.
Nadeau stands up over Harris, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Nadeau drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harris dives on top into guard.
Nadeau is breathing heavily.
Harris tries to free his leg and advance position but Nadeau is retaining full guard.
Harris won't allow Nadeau to get back to his feet.
Nadeau is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nadeau can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Harris controls the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Colin Harris dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Harris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nadeau but Nadeau pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brian Nadeau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nadeau throws a lazy head kick

and Harris counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris is trying to control the action in half guard but Nadeau is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Nadeau wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.

Nadeau might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Harris is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nadeau sees it coming and defends easily.
Nadeau tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control.

Nadeau is pressing down on Harris's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Harris with a flurry of punches that miss.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nadeau is on top in guard.
Nadeau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nadeau advances position into side control!
Harris takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Harris is looking to reverse the position.
Nadeau cracks Harris with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Nadeau thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Nadeau is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Harris looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nadeau gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Harris is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nadeau lets go of the hold and Harris can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brian Nadeau!
