Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sampsa Pikari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sampsa Pikari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Brown!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pikari avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brown throws a body punch but Pikari moves out of range.
Pikari swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brown misses with a looping left.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pikari.
Pikari displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab.
Pikari connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Pikari keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pikari.
Pikari throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Pikari is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pikari misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Brown takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Brown pushes Pikari away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pikari gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pikari drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!

Brown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Brown stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Brown throws a right and a left that Pikari avoids nicely.

and Pikari counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Pikari fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Sampsa Pikari will probably get the nod.

Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pikari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pikari is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Brown is surviving well by controlling Pikari's body position as best he can.

Pikari escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pikari, up you get!
