Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haonni Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haonni Campos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Campos both land. Nice combination.
Campos throws a good cross that connects.
Assis dodges the punch combination from Campos.
Campos throws a body kick that misses.
Campos throws a nice looking combination but Assis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Assis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Campos to the mat! Campos manages to get full guard.

Assis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Assis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Assis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Campos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Assis, into his guard.

Assis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Campos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Assis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Campos manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Assis has Campos in his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Campos doesn't have the hooks in and Assis manages to turn into his guard.
Assis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Campos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
