Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lamb of God-Omerta. The crowd seem to be enjoying Diesel 's choice of entrance music: I drink alone.. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bud Diesel !
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Paul.
Diesel tries to work over Paul's front leg with a kick but Paul checks it.
Left hook, right uppercut from Diesel .
Diesel looks to land a combination. Paul sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Paul cracks Diesel with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Bud Diesel has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A head kick lands from Paul that sends Diesel to the canvas. Diesel tries to scramble back to his feet but Paul brings him back down into side control.
Diesel is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Paul postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Paul prevents Diesel from escaping the position.

Paul throws a strike aimed at the side of Diesel 's head but Diesel avoids it well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Diesel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diesel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Paul avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diesel throws a head kick that misses.

Paul looks to land a left hand but Diesel moved out of range nicely.
Diesel lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Paul misses with a kick to the body.
Paul takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

A slapping leg kick lands for Diesel .
Diesel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Diesel throws a nice outside leg kick.
Diesel scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like David Paul has been cut.
Diesel jabs Paul right on the nose. Paul blinks but takes it well.
Diesel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Diesel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Diesel moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Diesel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Diesel scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Paul shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A jab from Diesel does it's job there.
Diesel throws a head kick that half lands.
Diesel lands a glancing blow to the side of Paul's head.
No joy there for Diesel , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diesel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Diesel , right into the meat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Paul misses with an uppercut. Diesel saw that one coming.
Diesel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Paul.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bud Diesel dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

An inside leg kick lands from Diesel .
Diesel lands a right hook to the body.
Diesel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Paul on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diesel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Diesel lands a nice hook to Paul's body. Paul takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Diesel lands a left and a right that send Paul crashing to the mat, dazed. Diesel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Paul is rocked!

Diesel cracks Paul with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Diesel has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Paul to stand back up!
Oh Paul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diesel lands a with a good body shot.
Paul seems to have got his legs back now.
Bud Diesel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Diesel lands a big right hand that sends Paul crashing to the mat! Diesel stays standing though and waves Paul back to his feet!
Diesel lands with a big right hook that stumbles Paul - he's out on his feet here! Diesel follows up with another monster hook that separates Paul from consciousness! Paul falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Diesel stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
