Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lili Jacotey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leroy has chosen Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacotey fails with a takedown attempt.

and Jacotey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Leroy is trying to maintain the position but Jacotey is very close to passing his half guard.

Leroy kicks Jacotey off and gets back to his feet.
Leroy closes the distance and clinches up with Jacotey, looking for a takedown. Leroy pushes Jacotey against the cage but Jacotey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jacotey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jacotey has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Leroy is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jacotey.

Leroy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jacotey throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Leroy escapes and throws Jacotey's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Leroy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jacotey tries to avoid it but Leroy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jacotey to the ground. Jacotey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leroy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jacotey's waist but Jacotey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leroy off to one side.

Leroy looks for a takedown but Jacotey sprawls well.
Leroy shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacotey tries to sprawl out of it but Leroy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jacotey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jacotey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Leroy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jacotey as he avoids it easily.
Leroy shoots for a takedown but Jacotey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Leroy leaves Jacotey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jacotey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Leroy, up you get!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lili Jacotey will probably get the nod.

Jacotey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Leroy to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jacotey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jacotey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leroy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lili Jacotey.
Well Jacotey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
