PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between georges Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gsp´s Entrance. georges Rush looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rush drives through with a takedown into guard.
Charles is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rush is controlling him.
Rush controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rush lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rush not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Charles is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rush is controlling him.
Rush is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Charles is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rush postures up and lands a big shot to Charles's brow.

Rush lands a couple of digs.
Charles wants to stand and escape but Rush is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Charles looks gassed!
Rush stays in close to Charles's body and controls the position.

Rush gets to his feet. Charles looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Rush slips under a jab from Charles.
Charles throws a big shot that misses.
Charles throws a hook to the side of Rush's head but Rush sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rush throws a series of strikes that have Charles backpedaling.
Charles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Rush drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Charles pushes Rush away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rush gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Rush has hold of Charles's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Charles seems comfortable defending it but Rush has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Charles is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Charles is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Rush couldn't care less - he's delighted!
