The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murakami misses with a body shot.
A head kick misses from Murakami.

Murakami throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sotiropoulos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sotiropoulos connects with a couple of short punches.

Sotiropoulos throws a strike but Murakami rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
