Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Rominick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hoppe Krille!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krille pushes Rominick up against the cage in a clinch.
Rominick prevents a takedown attempt there.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Krille just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rominick's brow.
Krille wants to stall.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Krille takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Krille drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rominick gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Krille is trying to drag Rominick to the mat but Rominick just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mark Rominick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoppe Krille.
Krille throws an elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krille misses with an elbow over the top.
Rominick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Krille goes for a takedown attempt but Rominick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rominick wants to clinch up but Krille keeps it at a distance.
A swing and a miss from Krille.
Rominick scores with a jab to the head.
Rominick scores with a crisp jab that stopped Krille in his tracks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Krille looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Krille fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rominick tries to clinch there but Krille circles away.

Rominick drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Krille looks gassed!

Rominick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rominick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rominick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rominick sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Krille's guard.
Rominick wants to control but Krille is keeping him busy.
Rominick is taking a breather. Krille says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Rominick is trying to work for a kimura but Krille is defending well.
Krille is trying to get back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rominick in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Krille tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Rominick!
