Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chosen Sun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeronimo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sun comes into the arena with Imma be blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sun throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Sun pushes him off.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Sun. Sun gets slowly back to his feet.

Silva forces Sun back against the cage and clinches.
Silva tries for a takedown but Sun manages to get underhooks.
Silva wants a takedown.

Sun breaks the clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva.
Sun sneaks back into half guard.
Sun is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.
Sun keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Silva content to control rather than advance.
Sun works his way to full guard. Good work.

Silva gets to his feet. Sun looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Sun lands a jab.
Sun misses with a takedown

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Sun regains full guard. Nicely done.
Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Silva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Sun decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Chosen Sun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeronimo Silva.

Sun postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
