Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Lopes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopes comes to the cage accompanied by Pulse of the Magoots. Nathan mac has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mac shoots in but no luck this time.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from mac is defended easily by Lopes.
mac shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lopes but Lopes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tiago Lopes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan mac.
mac looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Lopes scores a takedown into full mount!

Lopes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But mac has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from mac!

Lopes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

mac is looking to work some ground and pound but Lopes has wrist control.

mac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lopes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, mac has managed to get both his arms back between Lopes's legs - danger averted.
mac passes easily into side control. Nice work.

mac tries for a kimura but Lopes is defending well.
Lopes regains half guard.

Lopes looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lopes is breathing heavily.

mac takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

mac is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lopes sees it coming and defends easily.
mac is trying to control the action in half guard but Lopes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
mac scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lopes is in trouble now - mac has advanced to mount!

mac stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

mac gets a clinch.

mac wants a takedown.
mac jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lopes walks away with a smile on his face. mac gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

mac shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lopes napping and manages to drive through into side control!

mac is working to tighten is grip on Lopes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lopes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but mac is really squeezing tight and eventually Lopes passes out! mac breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
