Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Boomslang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, michael bis!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomslang bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boomslang working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
bis tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
bis tries to reverse the position but Boomslang maintains control.
bis has left one of his arms exposed and Boomslang doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. bis screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
