Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernie the hustler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Batina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batina has chosen Tapout as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

the hustler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Batina stacks the hustler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Batina!
the hustler parries the strikes from Batina easily there. Batina is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable the hustler to escape.

the hustler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Batina was covering up waiting for the punch and the hustler finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Batina has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, the hustler has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Batina shoots in looking for a takedown. the hustler tries to sprawl out of it but Batina keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. the hustler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ernie the hustler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
