The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagendoorn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cano.
Hagendoorn misses with a double jab.

Cano is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Cano wants to work for an arm triangle but Hagendoorn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hagendoorn is trying to stand up here but Cano is controlling him well.

Hagendoorn manages to escape and get back to his feet!

A solid leg kick lands there for Cano.

Cano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hagendoorn sprawls well initially but Cano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cano seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hagendoorn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hagendoorn scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cano manages to mount him!
Hagendoorn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Cano swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
