Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yrjo Pieru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yrjo Pieru has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pieru moves away.
Harper throws a nice looking combination but Pieru bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pieru closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pieru changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Harper fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pieru can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Harper frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Harper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pieru cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Pieru lands a big shot to the head and Harper winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
