Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Mayhew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benjamin Pace looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Pace.
Pace stuffs the takedown.
Mayhew misses with a takedown attempt - Pace sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mayhew shoots in but Pace avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mayhew closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mayhew jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pace is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pace and Mayhew has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Pace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mayhew doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mayhew manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mayhew drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mayhew jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pace lands in his opponent's guard.

Mayhew has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pace is working away from the top position though.

Mayhew is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pace's back!

Mayhew is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Mayhew has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pace is looking to defend but Mayhew has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pace! Mayhew pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pace taps out and this one is all over!
