Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Aronoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Carlos Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aronoff's entrance music is Here Comes the Pain by Slayer. A fine choice. Juan Carlos Ortega will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega looks to land a combination but Aronoff avoids it well.
Aronoff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ortega had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Aronoff is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ortega Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Aronoff's back instead.

Aronoff manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ortega's guard. Nice work there by Aronoff.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Aronoff will probably get the nod.

Ortega isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Aronoff stacks Ortega on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Aronoff!
