PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blanket Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuli Feia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad. Feia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Roots Bloody Roots. Kuli Feia told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feia scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jackson is trying to control Feia's posture but Feia avoids it.

Jackson has his foot on Feia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Feia works his way back into a safe position though.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Feia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Feia makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Feia wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

Jackson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Feia is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jackson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Feia's back instead.

Jackson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Feia is defending well though. Jackson let's go of the attempt for now.

Jackson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Feia! Can he survive? No! He's out! Jackson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
