Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassiano Victor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enigma - Hello and welcome. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Victor misses with a looping left.
Lukens takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Johnny Lukens has been cut.
A jab lands there for Victor.
Lukens ducks under a wild hook from Victor.
Lukens tries to clinch there but Victor circles away.
Nice defenses there by Lukens.

Lukens tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Victor paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fighters circling - Victor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Victor is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lukens's half guard.
Victor wants to stand up but Lukens is controlling the position.
Victor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lukens does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Victor seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Victor decides to return to a standing position.
Lukens doesn't manage to clinch there - Victor circles away.

and Victor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Victor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Victor is keen to just control but Lukens is a slippery customer.
Lukens misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lukens is trying to get back to full guard.

Victor decides to stand up.
Victor throws out a loose jab but Lukens uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lukens clinches but Victor breaks the clinch

and Victor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lukens is breathing heavily.
Lukens tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Victor moves to back control.
Lukens tries to escape the position.

Victor lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Lukens hold on?!
Victor is hanging on to Lukens's back as he tries to escape.

Victor is looking for the choke from the back position but Lukens is controlling his hands well.
Lukens tries to roll but Victor sticks to his back.

You can see the frustration on Lukens's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Victor wants to control but Lukens is keeping busy.
Victor doesn't have the hooks in and Lukens manages to turn into his guard.

Victor has his foot on Lukens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lukens works his way back into a safe position though.

Lukens tries to free his leg and advance position but Victor is retaining full guard.
Lukens wants to control from the top but Victor keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Victor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Victor wants to stand but Lukens is controlling the position.

and Victor counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lukens!

Lukens has left one of his arms exposed and Victor doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Lukens screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
